Team Leader /Arborist Climber

About the job We are currently seeking several full time Team Leader /Arborist Climbers to work out of our Bedford office in either the established Utility Sector or Amenity sector. The positions offered are professional and we are looking for skilled staff to join our team. To keep your qualifications up to date we offer refresher training and CPD, (continuous professional development) up to Team Leader. Our in-house safety team will also ensure you are qualified for the demands of the role, and you will be kept up to date with first aid, manual handling, leading a team and the latest best practice. Our equipment is maintained to a high standard to ensure the job is as mechanised as much as possible and to support our professional reputation. Essential requirements: Utility Industry experience is preferred but not essential. Team Player and/or ability to work as team leader Enthusiastic and wanting to develop within the industry Preferred Skills. Utility tree qualifications Ground tree cutting qualifications Aerial tree cutting qualifications & rescue Full Driving licence. We offer a friendly environment and a team atmosphere. Salary in the region of £28,000 – £45,000 dependent on your skill and experience. Extra is paid for call outs/faults and weekend work.

Surveyor

About the job We are looking for eager individuals to form part of our team as skilled utility surveyors. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining their own workload, managing teams allocated to their business work steam and working closely with our customers in a professional manner. The candidate will ideally have some, but not necessarily all, of the following: NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units UA1, UA 2.1, UA 5.1 and 5.2 or equivalent. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar job role, or experience as a Team Leader looking to retrain as surveyor. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. Understanding of working around/with electricity in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Experience of leading teams and/ or coordinating the work of others. Excellent customer service skills. Results Driven Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Part-time may be considered for the right candidate. Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year dependent upon experience, plus bonus circa £3,000.00 Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Bedford MK43 9EF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
